dosent work when drupal is installed in subdirectory

Description
I have installed drupal in a subdirectory
as localhost/prj
here when I use module It is not working properly
and when i install drupal in root directory it is working properly
please help or provide patch
i think it is "drupal.basepath " ( something like that ... since I am neophyte of drupal .. I dont know much about it ...)
please help
