When I go to edit or create content, an extra, smaller Body field appears under the regular Body field. If I'm editing content, the extra field contains the exact same content as the regular field. If I'm creating (or editing) content and leave the extra field blank, whatever I put into the regular Body field appears in the extra Body field next time I edit the node. I hope this is coherent, but I've attached a screenshot just in case. Thank you!!

alisonHi, I don't want to be annoying, and maybe you're looking into this, and/or maybe you're busy and haven't been able to look into this yet, and of course that's more than okay, but I wanted to check in anyway. So, if possible, could you please respond briefly, even just to say you haven't been able to do anything with it yet, or whatever? Thanks so much.

Some what similar problem i also face. But i got solution. I also have some problem like this. If i am going to edit any content than it gives two descriptions filed set and title.
In that case i have unistall the cck module and check it than it will work.
Than i come to know the cck module which i have used that is going to conflict some problem.
So, first unistall the cck module and use proper version of cck module.
Than it will wok fine.

alisonHi, and thank you for the suggestion. I just wanted to check in and let you know that I plan to try out what you advised but I have to wait a little longer before updating my CCK module.
What version of CCK were you using, and what version are you currently using? (I currently have 6.x-2.1, though it's telling me I need to update to 2.2 for an "important security update.")

I've not yet been able to reproduce the issue that you're having. I see that you also reported a problem in the thread about FCKeditor (#397648: Problems using Wysiwyg editors (including FCKeditor and TinyMCE)). Does the extra body field show up also when FCKeditor is not enabled?

I'm afraid we decided to uninstall nodeadmin for the time being, so I can't test this out. I apologize for this, I want to contribute to resolving this issue, and I hope to try re-installing nodeadmin and seeing what happens when FCKeditor is disabled this weekend, I just can't "mess with things" before then. I saw your reply to the other thread (#397648: Problems using Wysiwyg editors (including FCKeditor and TinyMCE)), thank you for that, and hopefully this is FCK-related.
