Hi
I havent had a go at it but I believe you can add a date field using cck and the date field. If it should appear and disappear with relevant dates, maybe the availability module.

hi,

chitwa is right. reservation does not bring a date-field on itself. it only provides the means to reserve seats or stuff. if you want datefields or other things, add them by using CCK.

(there is a datefield in reservation for limiting the timespan when users are allowed to reserve seats, but this is not usable to show the date of an event. this is in the "Limit the reservation timespan" section when creating new reservations)

Well. I understand what you say and i use cck to add date field but i want the date field in the step 1 of the reservation procedure.

But my problem is that i want that users can reserve seats for dinner all the days of the year. So i want use reservations module for this reservation. I have a Restaurant (more or less) and all the days are dinner and lunch. I would like to know if with this module a user can reserve X seats for one day exclusively.

Thanks and thanks and thanks...

hi aitona,

sorry to say that this is not supported by this module. This module works on a "per event" basis like a theater performance where you need to reserve your seats. That means, it does not support time slots like renting a car for a day or similar things. The Airplane Reservation System works time based.
You would have to create a new reservation node for every dinner- or lunch-(event) and each would be limited to one fixed point of time. I don't think this is what you want to do.
