Description
When I look as the CVS it shows that the D5 version hasn't had an update in over 2 years and the D6 in 11 months. I just am curious if this module is still supported. I also saw a few issue posts from the developer exclaiming that he doesn't have much spare time for this module. I just want see if there is any dedication to this module.

Yeah it's supported but only for bug fixes, I'm not interested in adding any new functionality in any of the previous tags/ branches - and that current 6.x-1.x-dev branch was only ever a temporary stopgap to get *something* up and running for 6.x.
I'm currently developing a 6.x-2.x branch but progress is slow as I'm the sole developer for this project and as you've rightly pointed out, I'm busy at the moment and only devoting perhaps an hour or two a week to this project. Afraid I have paid development work which will always take precedence...
