Our visitors are getting the following error:

Line item 1 is invalid

when submitting a credit card processing for a product. What does the error mean, all the data is correct on the payment/cc form fields.

This is happening for the Generic product category.

The problem is isolated to the Generic Product module, which in turn creates a Non Shippable Product type.

Is anyone supporting this module? Should we use an alternative ecommerce solution instead if this module is no longer getting support?

ATM we are pushing towards the first rc for e-Commerce 4.0, so I have not been concentrating on the 3.x series.

Also the information that you have give is a little sparse, in that you doing really tell us what you are doing when this error occurs.

Please tell us more and we might be able to help you. Information like the path, what payment gateway you are using etc.

We get the error when we go to the Authorize.net screen under the HTTPS server. Right at the point of authentication of CC. I can't continue testing this because the site has the donation module live and that one works. This error is isolated to the Non-Shippable Product.
