Issue Summary

I did search the list of issues here but I can't find anything about what I am experiencing. I can't get the tabs to show up. I'm just using the first block provided by the module because I only need one and I did go into views and configure to have tabs above, not grouped but they just won't show up.

Also, I added a new field to the form called author because I wanted to use this as a quote rotator and have the author under each quote, but it's not showing my added field and I can't use fields to add it because roto doesn't use fields...so what should I do?

Thanks,

Becky

You can set rotor to use the fields display and then select what ever fields you like and it should still rotate. However, doing this may mean that you can't select any/many of the fields that I provided in the Rotor Item content type, including the image. Sayaing that, I haven't actually tried this yet so I'm I'm not too sure. If not, let me know.

Regarding the tabs: please try with this patch:

I tried the patch to no avail. Still no tabs on top or bottom show up.

There are 4 combinations for displaying the tabs:

Group tabs
- above
- below

Each tab with its own item
- above
- below

My demo site (http://rotor2.kirkdesigns.co.uk/) for example, has 2 Rotor blocks, one set to display grouped tabs above, and the other grouped and below.

I have commited the above patch anyway, as it was causing problems. Please try with the latest -dev release as several changes have been made... Please can you then confirm which tab setting combination(s) you can/can't see the tabs for?

Also, when you say that you can't see the tabs... you do know that by default the tabs just show up as text links right, using the text that you supplied in the 'tab text' field when you created each rotor item? If you want to style them to actually look like tabs (like on my demo site) you will need to do some css work.
