Under the "My newsletters" tab, if I tick and opt for both the options and then save, I am correctly informed that I have been subscribed for the news letters, but the boxes do not remain ticked, therefore there is no indication that I have registered.
Thanks
Stephen

vm commentedQueue cleanup:
I just checked this and it seems to work perfectly fine now. Likely a bug after the D6 upgrade on d.o
If this is still an issue feel free to reopen.
spjsche commentedI am afraid it is still the same.
I have attached a screenshot.
Thanks

avpadernoI am changing the status back to active; although, I am not having this problem (and I have never had it), which could be related to the browser used.
vm commentedAs this is still a problem it may have to be moved to infrastructure for someone to take a look at what could be causing the issue. At this point I don't believe it's a user account problem and it doesn't seem to fit well in any of the other categories under webmasters.
I'm not seeing the problem with IE8.
spjsche, please inform what version of firefox is in use?
spjsche commentedI am now on Firefox 3.5.2, I have reluctantly just tried ie8 with the same result.
Thanks

vm commentedvery odd.
:quitely wonders if this is a permissions thing that I can set them and you can't:

vm commentedok i figured out what the problem is. The use of capital letters in your email address.
OP was using Firstname.Lastname@HisDomain.com < note capital letters.
by removing the capital letters and replacing all with lowercase you can now set this coprrectly and all newsletters are appearing as checked.
A quick fix from a usability standpoint would be to add a note to to the email description that only lowercase letters will allow newsletters to be set correctly. However this is now looking like a bug.
Changing title to reflect problem.
