Hi there,
While reviewing the multi-currency module for use in an Ubercart v1.x site we found that the module effects virtually every price in the admin and overview system. I assume that the module in-effect is designed to alter every price based on the users country / currency selection.
This does however mean that a site administrator looking through their order list, views all the order details in the currency that their login is set to. Another item which is more immediate from a site owners point of view is that if a user buys something in USD instead of the store default which could be, say, GBP then whenever they login to view their previous invoices or order history, the prices they are viewing are not what they paid at the time of the order. As the price (including previous purchases) have been set to the current exchange value.
This means a site running this module, is unable to show at a users request, accurate purchase history which unfortunately is why we can't implement this great module on our sites.
It would be great to hear your thoughts on this, as it is a great module and I would love to see our sites running these features.
Many thanks
Vince

anea02 commentedI am also very interested in hearing thoughts on this issue as it represents a show stopper for me too as the site I am working on (D6/UC2) has 'multi-currency purchase', as a 'should have' requirement.
Regards and thanks
