• allow config of friend selector block for:
    • caption text - currently hard coded "Talk to:"
    • Option to use select list instead of links. Include "()" info for user to alert there are unread messages, and show the breakdown in the friend select list like it is in the friends link list. Better yet, make it a link that will display ALL unread messages, and this time, the name portion of each message will be a link that opens the conversation with that friend.

    Thank you for your dedicated work with this module,

    I wonder if you have ever used netlog? they have an interesting user chat solution - a drop down menu for friends, and if u click the name a window pops open, which stays on top of the page -

    This in my view is a better solution to having the chat in a module (as that takes up valuable space on the page).

    Sorry that i am not able to contribute in helping out, just I feel perhaps it is better if the chat pane is not stuck in a block?

    Anyway, its a really great job that you have done, thank you very much !

    Option to use select list instead of links. I have the same idea, because this is more usable and compactly.
