If you are talking to "no one", and a message comes in and the little number appears in parens on your firiends list, should it not just display the message? As if you saw the little number in parens and then clicked on it?

@Vako, that's not how this works. You need to split up each issue so that they can be addressed individually.
Anyway, very interested in this feature. :)

If you are "talking to no one" and a message come in, IM now automatically opens the conversation with the sender and displays the message
