Issue Summary
Perhaps documentation would provide me with a solution to my problem. Let me describe:
Flashnode is installed with flowplayer3 and swfobject2.
I tried to get the first frame ONLY of video.flv to load and then stop, but I couldn't figure out how to do that... so...
I thought of another way to do this by using a jpg image... This may be possible with flashnode's flashvars and flowplayer's field called [splashImageFile] that points to the image file I want to use as what the video clip displays before you click it. However, I can't figure it out. Please help. See:

Best documetation I could find starts out with "I really must get round to writing up documentation for Flashnode!" See:

FlowPlayer3 is very new, and I haven't got round to documentation yet. Off the top of my head, there isn't an easy way to get splash image from flash node in to FlowPlayer.
However, you could get the first video frame by going to FlowPlayer3 settings and putting Autoplay : False and Autobuffering : True.
Setting this thread to postponed as it will still be a while before I get the docs in order (plus the doc handbooks are all broken).

Hi there,
It's been over a year since the last post - has anything improved regarding setting up the splash image? Setting up Autoplay : False and Autobuffering : True. is not sufficient enough.
If anyone knows of good instructions on how to set up teh splash image - in any way, that is as explained above with img or [splashImageFile] I'd really appreciate.
Seems to work very well and is simple to install just those splash images seem to be a nightmare.
Any help will be much appreciated,
Pav
