Allow users to define "parents" terms when they create and edit nodes??

Hi,
Currently there's an option to define synonyms and related terms when users create and edit nodes. However, parents terms cannot be defined on the same page. Could parents terms be please added as well? I am relying on parent/child relationship to have Unitag auto include parents terms.

Assign the associated taxonomy to the NAT node to establish parent-child relationships.
