Is it my impression or each time you access a view 'Views Calc Table' settings, it's field default sorting allways returns to 'none' (even though you've changed it previously)?

I can confirm this.

The problem with this is the view modifier must remember to select the appropriate default sort each time, otherwise the sort reverts to none (i.e. the default sort works, but is not a sticky setting).

I've posted changes to the -dev version that may take care of this. If there is still a problem in the latest -dev code I need a specific example of how to reproduce the problem. I kind of know what you are talking about but can't be sure that I'm fixing the same thing you're describing.
