Issue Summary
This is a question before i even installed and tried this module. I have several questions about it actually. I want to have a "call us on skype" button in the contact page of my company website. Could i do this using this module? I think I probably can, but I am affraid that this module might be overkill, there may be a simpler way to do this.
I also would like to change the messages to show pictures instead of a text. Basically in a similar fashion as the button you can download from skype. I would like to use custom pictures for messages, I guess there are some theme overrides for this.
Anyway, like i said, this is a question before i even tried the module. I'll have a look at it now. If I find anything useful, I'll come back to explain.

Why don't you just use the skype button as you described and place it in a block on your contact page?

Looooong time since i viewed this.
For my purpose this module is overkill. I dont want to use the official skype buttons, so I just wrote a small php block that checks the skype status online and sets the picture depending on the returned value. I still don't understand why this module needs rdf when a simple fopen does the trick nicely.
