Do you known what to you in Drupal 4.7 if I need to be able to set permission to each node.
I used "node privacy by role" module and it was good, but now it is not working in Drupal 4.7.
Or is there also "node privacy by role" for Drupal 4.7?
Thank you

What about using Simple Access?

It hasn't been updated yet
Drupal 4.7 introduces a number of changes that means modules will have to be rewritten, I'm sure the author of node-privacy-by-node will update the module as soon as the 4.7 API settles down in time for the offical Drupal 4.7 release in the new year.
any updates?
Hi!
I am just updating to drupal 4.7, and i have a problem with the missing module "privacy by role".
In fact i have an events calendar which only should be accessible/viewable to registered users, and also some pages which are for registered users only.
Now, after updating, at first every page or event was not allowed to be viewed.
Then i installed the proposed "simple access" module and added the groups for anonymous and registered users. But now all events and even the calendar can be viewed from anyone! And anyone even can comment on them!
How do i prevent this? In "access control -> permissions" i now longer find the options to allow/disallow viewing/commentig for anonymous users for event or page content type. I can only set allow/disallow commenting globally to everything the site contains, but at least one page must have commentig enabled.
there must be a way to get it to work like before?
greetings
