Simpletest can give the performance of drupal with this patch, and without, it... So we allways known the performance impact of any patch..

Seems related to #343355: Provide performance information on testing bots. Exactly what your referring to has been suggested, but we need average performance data per test computer as described in the referenced issue since we don't want to have to run tests without patch and then with patch just to get a time. Instead run speed test on a clean HEAD after each commit.

Lets continue conversation in other issue.
