With Ubercart I would like to set up one page for each product type, with attributes to provide control of the various sizes and if possible the SKU related too those sized products.
I understand that the SKU must be used and could the set to the product name, leaving the attribute to control the size and identifying product number. Is this possible or is Ubercart restricted to using the default SKU field only?
If the default SKU is required for stock control etc then I doubt that I should try and deviate from that.
However I would like to get away from creating multiple pages with virtually identical info on them, except for the products size related info, which I will have to do if I am restricted to the default SKU.
Any help is always appreciated.
