Activity Integration doesn't work

There is a setting at admin/settings/facebook_status under the Miscellaneous fieldset which lets you choose whether to enable Activity notifications...

...I'm really not sure why you see "Faceboo" somewhere. I think it's an Activity bug. That text is not anywhere in facebook_status.module or any related file, and in Activity 3.x it was "facebook_status activity." Maybe the string gets cut off at 7 characters.

I don't use this module with Activity in 6.x so although I suspect that the problem has something to do with Activity integration being temporarily being removed from 6.x and being not added back properly, I don't actually have any idea. It looks right to me, but then I haven't really looked into the Activity 6.1.x API since it's not actually complete yet. As far as I'm aware it was working recently, but there could have been an API change in Activity. It certainly works in the stable branch (5.3.x)...

So while I would certainly like to fix this bug, I'm going to leave it to someone else to spend the time to check the API and such, if anyone steps up to do so. I'll fix it if I get enough information for me to find whatever bug might exist--and it's always possible that it's just a problem with your system/setup.

In the mean time, I'm going to spend what little time I have on Facebook-style Statuses 2.x. A new look at Activity integration will inevitably come as a result of that at some point anyway.

I would like to know if anyone else experiences this problem, by the way... I know there are some sites that have been using Activity integration successfully so far.

With the 2.x branch in CVS now, I'm not going to be looking closer at this one. I redid the Activity integration in 6.x-2.x from scratch, so it should be working now. That said, I don't recommend that you upgrade just yet--wait another week or two for Views integration and AHAH status submission to make it in.

I am experiencing the same problem.Unable to integrate activity module with facebook style status module and it shows me "Faceboo activity settings page" which doesnt seems to work..Please help

Activity integration is no longer supported in the 1.x branch.
