Love this little module and the potential for it! Quick question, is it possible to change the link in the teaser to go to the node instead of the amazon page for the book?

Sure - The easiest way to do this is to copy the .tpl.php file to your theme and change it there.

Also, you can use views, where you have complete control of where the link goes to.
