I am using freelinking to create a 2 simple wikis for my site.
The first is a help wiki - how to use the site. In this text I would like to be able to show how to write the links as [[link]] and also as the resulting link. I tried pear wiki, but the nowiki tag doesn't seem to work. In freelinking it is possible to use ! to block the linking but there seem to be two problems.
Firstly, the exclamation mark shows, so the text shows ![[link]] rather than [[link]]. Secondly, the blocking only works if all the references to that link are negated, so if I have one ![[link]] and another [[link]], both will be filtered into links, whereas I want to show the first as text, and the second as a link.
The second wiki is for the site community to edit with information (child development disorders). I don't know how to use freelinking to be able to create two wikis. I have two content types, both using freelinking as the filter, along with wikitools. Wikitools allows creation of multiple content types, but freelinking seems to default to only one type. I can work around this by editing the URL for the newly created node, but it would be good to have the choice.
Any suggestions welcome
Thanks
Michael
