After installing this module the Drupal core system tells me that it's unsupported. I am using version Profile Setup 6.x-2.0.

Is this a safe way to use this module or should we wait until some final accepted release is available ?

looks like it was a CVS issue, I just tweak the settings on the project page and seems fine for me.
