Observed Behavior

On the settings page, the "Full name profile field" drop down list is populated with the values from the default category.

Expected Behavior

It should be populated with the values from the category selected by the "Full name profile category" setting.

Trigger Situation

  • Only one profile category has been established and its name is not the default category name of "Personal Information"
  • gallery_profile_fullname_category is not set or it is set to a name other than the single profile category.

On the settings page:
The (single-entry) list of categories appears in the "Full name profile category" dropdown list.
The list in the "Full name profile field" is empty. (The code attempts to populate it with fields in the default category, which is void.)

This problem appears after first-time installation and before the gallery_profile_fullname_category variable is established.

WORKAROUND

  1. Create a dummy profile item with a dummy category.
  2. On the gallery user settings page, select the dummy category, then select the desired category.
  3. Select "Save configuration"
  4. The profile fields of the desired category will appear in the "Full name profile field" list.
