Interesting idea. I'll double check that there aren't any other modules that do this and it could possibly be a valid feature request. A quick question. By "viewing or editing a content type" do you mean actual content (node/x) or content types (admin/content/types/x)?

I'd like to see a "new" link on the actual node so that by clicking it you'd be able to make a new instance of that node type.

If I have a content type "page" and am viewing a "page" instance, I might want to create another "page". Now I need to navigate through to "content management >> create content >> page" to create a new instance of something I'm already at. What I'd like to click is 'new'.

If I understand you correctly "node/x", if admin, would have tabs: edit, view, and new.

Thanks for considering my suggestion! I'm pretty sure there is nothing out there that does this via a module. I found this module way back then while searching for this very feature. If I remember correctly there was a d5 hack or something that involved core manipulation that claimed to work but scared me away.

And how about adding "Revert" link?

I agree. To equip the module to pick up the content type and enable creation of a new isntance of that type would really add value.

I'm very interested to try out the next release of this module any ETA?

Thanks

A 'New [content-type]' link feature has been added and it will be disabled by default. You'll need to enable it at admin/settings/admin-links.

@Eliza: Could you please create a separate feature request for the Revert link?
