I ran the module and it appears the surveys successfully converted to webforms. However when trying to access the webforms I get the error that I do not have the proper permissions. I get this error when logged in with an admin account and also when logged in as the user that created the surveys. Does anyone know what would cause this?

The Survey-Webform Migrate module was written before Webform added submission permisisons. What's the exact error that you receive? My guess is that you need to edit the webform node, and under "Webform access control" you need to check the boxes for the roles that have access.

I unfortunately can't even edit them. In the admin panel I can go to webform and see the webform titles, but cannot view submissions or edit. We have a custom page for restricted access, but essentially it is kicking me to the login screen as I don't even have permission to edit the webforms that were converted. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hm, this sounds like you have some kind of access control module installed on your site (Content access, taxonomy access control, etc). Are you logged in as user #1?
