Love the module! Alas, I found it only after I built something quite similar. Although I also built term-level hiding into the module (a must-have feature for my company) and, as such, affixed the UI to each term/vocabulary edit form (rather than a separate settings page).
Just curious: do you have any interest building into taxonomy_hide the ability to hide by term?

nice feature. i would like to include it on the release. Since you are a programmer (and im not with much free time... :P), could you try to build it? i will take a look and commit it once its ready.
