Date breaks on repeated dates

Not sure if I should call this a bug or a feature request.

If I have a facet that is a cck date field that is using the repeating date functionality it has some display weirdness.

Specifically if I sent a repeating date for say every friday when I drill down by year / month it shows all the dates as sub choices not just the ones in the year / month I selected.

I know the facet is called date authored and that can never repeat which is why I'm not sure if this is a bug or feature request ....
