1) it doesn't seem to listen to the theme global settings (/admin/build/themes/settings/global) on which node-types to show the 'post info'. I have it disable for many node-types and it's still showing it.

2) It always shows 2008 in the date icon instead of the proper year (see attached pics)

Thanks for catching this mdowsett, I'm embarassed to have a beta release with this issue, I'll fix it today, and quickly do another beta.

Sorry for taking a little longer than I said I would but this has been fixed in the new beta 3 release. I tested in my localhost before commiting and the theme settings worked an everything, please re-open if the files got mixed up when I cut the release or something and you get an old version.
