Not sure if this is works as designed or a bug but I can't seem to disable site-wide content creation and allow for a particular group.

First off, in the 'site-wide' portion of OG Content Types, all the allow checkboxes are checked and disabled. I would assume that unchecking the 'require' for something, like 'Event' but then allowing it in a particular group 'TestGroup' and then having the group owner check it as Active would mean that a user who has the create event permissions would be restricted to creating events only in those groups.

This is the behavior I'm looking for. To let users create content *only* in the authorized groups. However, If I set it up like this, and the user logs in and goes 'create content->event' they get an access denied. So it seems that if it's not 'required' for the site-default then it doesn't work at all.

Drupal 6.10
OG 6.x-1.1
OG access control 6.x-1.1

Thanks,
Garrett

I am having the same issue, once disabled in site-wide, I cannot seem to get the default or group level access to create. I though I was missing something but after running into this post there might be something to this....

This module seems to be a great concept. But this problem seems to be still here after two years of original report. In my case, content creation for most content types (except for blog and acidfree album) are denied for authenticated users once this module is enabled. I wonder how others are using this module. Maybe there is a way to avoid this problem?. Appreciate any feedback.
