I've installed flexinode, events, and created a flexinode for creating events. All looks fine and seems to function as intended. All other content on the site has a pull-down for terms (taxonomy) but I can't figure out how to add taxonomy to the new flexinode "New Event".

go to admin/taxonomy
click 'edit vocabulary' for the group you want to include as a selection in events.

on that screen you should see your new flexinode type as a checkbox.

if it's not there make sure you have enabled the flexinode type in admin/access control.

I have the vocabulary list box coming up in my flexinode but the flexinode items don't show when I list taxonomy/term/4 say. What's the trick to make them show??

Because, I didn't APPROVE them. DOh!! I set up the flexinode item to default to needing approval. When I approve them, they show with all other items. Answered my own question.
