Secure Site What does this do that Drupal can't already do ?

Issue Summary

If you uncheck content for visitors, they will receive a login notice, isn't this the same as your module ?

I think I understand now, this shuts off the entire site, cool. Does this mean we can keep the site online all the time and then just use this to lock it ?
