How can I display the menu text next to the imagemenu?

Hi,
Thanks for a really handy module.
I'm trying to achieve a simple navigation menu that would display the image with the menu text next to it.
Something similar to this screenshot

But all I get a display of image only, which is quite disorienting.
How can I dsplay the menu Image AND the menu text too?
