How about adding an action which adds a reflection to an image? That's a popular "Web 2.0" style.

In the spirit of sharing (and reducing dupes) I've added evil_marty as a contrib to imagecache_actions.
I like the effect (although I am not using it myself) so it can be folded in any time you want.

Not sure if there is a place for it in the current sub-module groups, or if it would be better to add a new library for imagecache_transformations ? imagecache_effects is a bit vague as a namespace. _transformations could include warps like perspective.

Or are we are looking for that mirror-lake shiny-desk effect? It's something a bit different.
Yeah, that would be called an 'effect'.
