Issue Summary
Setting expiry date to 2050, reverts expiry date to 1969 - i created a simple test coupon, and when choosing 2050 as the expiry date, it ended up being 1969.
Be nice to apply coupons as "permament" discounts in some way, not based on the customer entering a coupon code or an expiry date as well.

The expiry date field has been restricted to 2008-2020 to work around this, and this seems more sensible anyway - there is no point having expiry dates in the past, at least. This has been committed to both 5.x and 6.x.

I would like the option to apply a coupon automatic if possible, similiar to a discount. Perhaps have a checkbox that say apply automatically during coupon creation?

I agree, it would be great to be able to apply a coupon automatically (ie. a discount, w/o the user needing to enter a code). In my case for wholesale user roles (more than one).
I just started using this module, its great.
Thanks

we can use fee module...

Wholesale pricing as requested in #3 can be achieved in a better way with uc_price_per_role module.
Closing as a duplicate of #864478: Auto-apply coupon when conditions fulfilled as that contains a more detailed feature request.
