I'd like the ability to restrict twitter accounts to one per user. My motivation is that I want to list the twitter account of each user and don't want users to be able to have more than one entry in that list.

Leeteq commentedHow about not restricting the amount of accounts, but instead forcing each user to pick only one to be listed there ("main twitter account", or something like that)?
If that is ok, that should be a configurable option for the admin, to set if it should be restricted, and perhaps to a configurable number.

jdleonardI like the idea of having the option to force users to pick a main account, but I'm really looking to simplify the interface for my users, who are likely to have at most one Twitter account, by having an option to remove the ability for them to have more than one account.
Leeteq commentedWell, are you referring to "users" or "admin-users"?
There is not necessarily a correlation between more admin options and more complex end-user ui. Admittedly, a good solution that provides more options to the admin, requires a bit more thought/discussion and hence time/work to get it right.
The end users can be provided with a very simple and easy to use interface, even if we add options to the admin section. It could be made in such a way that it is up to the admin to combine functions in a manner that is simple and functional for the users of the actualy site.

jdleonardI'm looking at providing the admin with two additional options for his site:
1. Force each user to pick a primary twitter account
2. Limit each user to x twitter accounts

Leeteq commentedGreat. That sounds just right.

jdleonardIssue is >2 years old and I no longer need this feature. Feel free to re-open.

Leeteq commentedok, moving up, adjusting title.

jose reyero commentedI'd rather have just one account per user. Having more than one makes everything else more complex. So I would limit the number ot accounts to just one.
