In fact, I tried to fix 2 issues:
1. Enclosure is not imported when its properties (RSS feed) are set with XML tag parameters - i.e.
2. derivative images are not created when using non-default setting of image module storage folder.
I guess the same solution would work for 5.x series (issue http://drupal.org/node/404596) - sorry, have no D5 installation...

Are you sure this is working correctly? I can't get a feed that meets its conditions to test, so I would like you to confirm it's working well before I incorporate it into the next version.

Sincerely, I'm already not sure, but when I did this patch, I was :)
Since then, I switched to use FeedsAPI (and now Feeds) module
