matt v. commentedtumblingmug,
Thanks a lot for your work on the update. I'm not sure when I'll have the time to look at it.
If anyone else would like to test it or work on the CCK and imagecache stuff, that would be great too. And if anyone is interested, I'd be glad to take on a co-maintainer for this project, since it was mainly a proof-of-concept that I haven't ended up using on my sites.

mandclu commentedI believe the attached has sorted out compatibility with imagecache and CCK. Seems to be working for me, anyway. Seems to work OK with multiple images on a page too.
+1 for being able to set options, especially since jqzoom provides a reasonably straightforward method for doing this.
mandclu commentedOK, while I head my head in it I thought I might as well work a little on the options. This new version implements four of the options, related to size and position of the magnified box.

ecstasy2 commentedHi there.
I am working on project that aim to integrate jqZoom with thickBox.
here are the functionnalities:
here are a demo of the module (just click on a image in the galery and move the mouse around) here.
Do you think this module could be usefull.
There are still some tiny issues when using IE6.
I don't know if i should create a project on drupal or if the JQZoom maintainers are interested in fusionning the two module.
waiting for feedback.

matt v. commentedecstasy2,
I like the way the two effects work in combination, but it seems like a limited use case. It's a great way of making print catalogs available online in an easy to navigate way.
I'm curious though, does your module allow the two effects (thickbox and jqzoom) to be controlled and used independent of one another? If not, it sounds like it would still be worthwhile keep the module separate.
ecstasy2 commentedFor know, it is not possible to control the separatly, but i'm planning it.
I wanted to know if people are interested.
I think i will create a projet for this module and make it grow.
I also need some one to help me correct the ie6 issues.
This thought is just a proof of concept.
I'll keep you posted.

chris_bbg888 commentedis it already working for D6? that'll be great or is there another module your using for that purpose?
matt v. commentedSurge_martin, thanks a lot for your help on the update to Drupal 6. Would you be interested in becoming a co-maintainer of the module?
I've created a DRUPAL-6--1 branch and checked in your updates along with some minor modifications and documentation of my own. A development release should be available on the project page soon. In the mean time, the latest updates can be checked out via the DRUPAL-6--1 branch in CVS.
