Issue Summary
I'd like for my users to be able to set the frequency with which they get notifications. Some want the default hourly updates. Others would like a daily summary. Right now, it's site default or none.

This is exactly what I have been looking for.
Right now, my users who subscribe are getting an email for *each* update.
Is there no current funtionality that would allow for the comments / additions to be rolled-up to a *single* update that would include all changes since the last cron job was run?

I would also be happy to see a feature that allows users to individually set the frequency of notify emails.
This would also be great to allow administrators to have a different frequency as they often want to know asap, whereas, especially casual, users might prefer daily or even weekly notifications.
