Folder name cannot contain spaces

In Fast Gallery 6.x-3.3-beta1 - a user could create folders with spaces to be the album names in fast gallery.

So if my path to gallery was sites/default/files/images/ and under the images folder, I created 2 folders, one called Family_2007, another called Family 2008, then both of those albums would show up in my fast gallery with the name exactly in that format.

THE BUG
In Fast Gallery 6.x-4.0-beta3 - only Family_2007 folder would appear in my gallery view, but not Family 2008. Since the Permissions tab is new in 6.x-4.0 version, I went to the permissions tab and saw both folders listed there. I checked off both folders, selected save, but when the page reloaded, the Family 2008 folder is unchecked.

I can only assume that the reason this folder does not stay checked is because the folder name has a space in it. I'm pretty sure this is reason because both folders contain the same pictures and the only difference in the file name. Even if I replace the pictures with different ones, I still have the same problem.

If my explanation doesn't make sense, please let me know and I'll make a video of the bug taking place.
