Hi, we have a decent website with drupal 5.x on it, but it's extremely slow to open when using Internet explorer 6. Anyone have any optimization tips specific to IE 6 ? We have about 35% of our users using IE6.

Drupal 5 should work absolutely fine with IE6. I guess that something has gone wrong with your installation.

I would suggest making a copy of your site, then try disabling modules until you can get it to work properly again. That should help you isolate the problem.

Have you checked your Drupal log entries to see if there are any clues there?

(You didn't say if your site is on the internet or on an intranet. I'm wondering if you have a firewall issue with the Update module?)
