Viewfield is very, very powerful: it allows recursivity.

Difficulties in creating hierarchical structures using the relational model are known.
Experimenting with views and viewfield I provided my site with a hierarchical structure of related notes with no limits in deepth. You can, recursively, call a view which is in a view field.
Is that of interest for the Drupal community? Is this information in any place?
