no image in edit image page

i installed image_crop and Jcrop on Drupal 5.
I get the crop controls and the functionality works, however The full image will not render in crop window, i checked in firebug and the image path seems to be wrong. I dont believe Jcrop is setup for 5.1
any suggestions?

You do not need jcrop for the 5.x version. What path do you get in firebug for the image?
