Renders fine in Firefox however when i view the same page in IE the two columns are rendered as one ( all in the left column ). It seems like its just not respecting the float property

Any ideas? Seems like this should work on IE7

NVM apparently its a bug with IE7. If you make one of the column widths 99.9% it all works...
