I'm about to develop a major project with drupal and this is my first time using it. I'll be using it for WYSIWYG editing of content, chat, blog, multi-lingual support, ecommerce, user management, and a few other things besides. So far, it seems to work beautifully.
So at what point am I going to get in trouble? What are some of the major drawbacks with drupal?
Thanks,
Moses

How would anyone know?

Ehm...

At the moment, using the contrib modules you are using, the only drawback is that one or more of them does not get updated a regularly as you would like, especially at the time of a new release.
This is not a real problem, as most contributed modules have the required changes made to them to work with the new updates or releases, then get re-tagged. It can take some time however.
I can't think of any actual drawbacks to using Drupal in general. It sounds perfect for the task at hand, and currently has all the resources available to handle your needs.
You also said you have it working 'beautifully'. Would this not indicate that this is the right solution for you?
