Any recommendations how to schedule regular simplenews newsletters (weekly / monthly) in Drupal 6? The scheduler only has module versions for D5,

I would like to know how to schedule Simplenews in Drupal 6 also. Upon registration my users enter a due date for the birth of their baby. I would like a weekly newsletter sent and scheduled based on the date they enter eg if they are in the 12th week of their pregnancy, they receive Week 12 newsletter first then Week 13, Week 14 etc but if they are in their 20th week of pregnancy when they sign up for the newsletter, they would receive Week 20 newsletter first then Week 21, Week 22 etc.
