Description

When I activate this module the admin panel and all it's categories stop opening. Instead you can see a white screen. Yet the module seems to work great, but why can't I access the admin panel? I have to delete the module to get it back...

It's worse, I can't delete it because then something goes wrong and Drupal shows an error message when entering a user profile (something concerning TROLL and menu.inc). And I can't deactivate the module normally because I can't access the admin panel. I need some help quickly!

EDIT: I managed to fix the problem but I had to delete the module. I wish it worked, it would have been useful. (I'm with Drupal 6.3)

6.3 is old and there have been menu bugfixes since then. Report back after you've upgraded to get all the security fixes you should have, but don't.

I had the same issue with an older install today. After install, then upgrading drupal core, noticed that the admin panel worked, but extremely slowly. I found a workaround by turning off the "Update status" module.

There are a few other posts out there where people had issues with the new 6.10 version of Drupal and having a slow Admin page load time.

BTW, got the same result with a fresh install of drupal 6.10 when adding the Troll module. Any chance it is caused by the module?

Well if it's a 6.3 problem, I'm not fixing that. If it's just a slow page load time in the admin area, that's almost surely the update status module.
