I'm seeking help on getting media mover to upload a larger media file 40-80m directly to an ftp (bypassing my web server) I don't want the ftp to have to move the file to my server and then to an ftp.

I currently have set up the cck upload field, so when a user creates the node it appears to have to upload it to my web hosting server, then I can't get the ftp transfer to even transfer the file to an outside ftp at this point. But, really since I'm dealing with larger files...it would be much better to bypass my hosting server all together and move files directly to an outside ftp. (or in my case a ftp video streaming server)

I'd love to have it be able to a flash conversion in the process., however I'd be really happy just to be able to move files to an ftp, while bypassing my website hosting server.

Thankyou for any tips or instructions on how to accomplish this.

Please grab the dev version of Media Mover- there are a bunch of FTP improvements that have been done that should fix any issues that you're having with FTP. Also, check your logs to see if there is anything about CCK in there.

I upgraded drupal to the development version. Can you post typical settings for the ftp. For some reason, I'm still unable to get the ftptest to function. I'm guessing I have my settings wrong and can't find documentation on this. (Maybe a typical screen shot would help others as well)
