Changes made after attaching a file are not saved

This is a current bug here on drupal.org, but I don't know if it's specific to project issues, attaching files to comments, or what exactly. Basically, attaching a file to a comment freezes the description so that it contains only that value once it is saved. Any changes made between attaching a file and submitting the comment are ignored. Editing the comment after the fact is still possible, but only if you remember your last-minute change.
