I could really use the subscription checkbox for google...
Is there an older version for drupal 5?
If negative, is there a way to tweak it, or do you know of any other module/script to do that?

Nope, no D5 version is available. I don't have the time to create one for this module but would accept code if anyone want to take that on as a project.
