This probably requires an upgrade to mollom's underlying service, but it just struck me that one amazing feature of mollom could be to provide protection against fraudulent ecommerce transactions.

This would be a great feature. It would likely require a major re-factoring with #245682: Enable use of Mollom for any form and/or #412760: User interface brainstorming. So for now, I'm going to set this as postponed.

I think the difference is that protecting an e-commerce transaction is somewhat different from protecting spam, though that's a server level issue and not a module level one.
