Thanks for the feedback module, it's a nice addition to my drupal site!

Hopefully this is not going to be a duplicate bug report, or a mistake made by me, but if a user wants to send a message, and he - for example - forgets to fill in a field, does he then lose his message?

I tested a bit around, and what I usually do when getting an error is pushing the back button of my browser. In drupal I have cache support enabled, and in the browser there's plenty of space to buffer. Whatever I try, everytime my message gets lost.

In the forum I read about users that saw messages being sent in watchdog, without receiving anything. I can imagine that if somebdoy just typed quite a huge message, and then lose it by just making a mistake...

Well, hope I'm doing something wrong; otherwise it would be nice to get this fixed ;)

Development on Feedback module v1.x has ended. Beginning from 2.x, the Feedback module has been replaced with a completely different module with a different purpose. Please note that Feedback 2.x is not compatible with 1.x. See #279636: Turn Feedback into user feedback module for further information.

There will be a final 5.x-1.1 release with all existing and tested patches in the issue queue applied. If you need the functionality of the Feedback 1.x module, the Contact module in Drupal core as well as the contributed Webform module are recommended replacements. However, there is no migration path to those modules.
